Mr. Frankenstein's monster, Mo, experiences rejection, abandonment and isolation that changes his opinions on humans and mankind. When Mo tries to interact with people, the drive him away or run for their lives.
The monster tried to make friends and contact with the De Lacey family, but was turn down and pushed away.
For a monster who has no other experiences from humans than rejection and abandonment, it is easy to label the mankind as evil and judgmental. This results in anger and hatred, and a lust for revenge over humans.
I do feel sympathy for Mo. Rejection can lead to hurt feelings and loneliness. The monster wanted to connect with people, but out of fear and disgust they denied him on the spot.

I believe that Mo was not “born” with an evil heart, but became hateful from being abandoned from his very first seconds alive. Love could have made Mo’s heart warm and caring. Bad experiences were what made him to a murderous rage, and was the reason for his perspectives on humans were the way they were.
